NEW dbx ZonePro Software

dbx is pleased to announce the release of version V2.2 of the ZonePRO Designer GUI and its accompanying Firmware version V1.1.  
 
This update, based on numerous requests, changes the gain response from quasi-logarithmic to linear throughout the range.  It means that all gain control, including ZCs (ZC-1, 2, 6, 8), will now be able to provide resolution up to +/- .5 dB steps from -90dB to +20dB.   

When you use the new GUI and load an old .zpd file, the GUI will automatically convert the file to the new response steps so you don’t need to worry about rebuilding your old files, but you will need to update the Firmware of your ZonePRO device to be able to use these new steps, so I highly recommend that you do this on all units.

We are working with Crestron and AMX to update the String Calculator, Crestron Modules and AMX Modules, and this should be completed in the next couple of weeks.
